NEW YORK, United States — An investigative journalist who chronicled Hollywood sex abuse claims that implicated his estranged father Woody Allen has parted ways with his publisher over its decision to release the director’s memoirs.
The filmmaker behind “Annie Hall” and “Manhattan” has long been accused of molesting his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow when she was seven years old in the early 1990s.

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) — Egypt on Wednesday executed one of its most high-profile militant leaders, the military said, after his conviction for his role in planning scores of deadly attacks against the country’s security forces.
Hisham el-Ashmawi, a former Egyptian special forces officer turned Islamic militant, was sentenced to death by a military court in November in two separate cases for his participation in scores of jihadist attacks on government targets.

Sweden's foreign minister has called for Ukraine to act following the exposing of an alleged cryptocurrency fraud operation duping naive investors from the country's capital.
The so-called "fraud factory," working from two floors of plush offices in Kyiv, was exposed after an investigation by Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter (DN) published Monday.
Called Milton Group, the firm was revealed to have employed ranks of telemarketers cold-calling potential investors, often older people, and offering inviting returns on money put into stocks and cryptocurrencies.
However, DN writes in the report: "Their real operation is committing fraud on an industrial level – and their victims are from all around the world."

Mild weather bolsters U.S. private payrolls in February.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. private payrolls increased more than expected in February, pointing to labor market strength before a recent escalation of recession fears ignited by the coronavirus epidemic that prompted an emergency interest rate cut from the Federal Reserve.
The ADP National Employment Report on Wednesday showed private payrolls rose by 183,000 jobs last month as warmer weather boosted hiring at construction sites and in the leisure and hospitality industry. Data for January was revised down to show private payrolls rising by 209,000 instead of the previously reported 291,000 surge. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast private payrolls gaining 170,000 jobs in February.
