$500 million later, Bloomberg ends bid for the White House

komonews.com/news/nation-world/mike-bloomberg-drops-out-of-democratic-presidential-race-endorses-joe-biden

NEW YORK (AP) — In just over 100 days, Mike Bloomberg spent over $500 million of his own fortune in a quixotic bid for the presidency that collapsed in stunning fashion on Super Tuesday, when he won just one U.S. territory, American Samoa.

By Wednesday morning, he quit the race and endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden, saying his continued presence in the rapidly shrinking field would make it harder for the party to defeat Republican President Donald Trump in November, his ultimate priority. The businessman, worth an estimated $61 billion, pledged to keep spending to defeat Trump.

Families of students at Woodmoor Elementary School, 12225 NE 160th Street, were notified of the closure Wednesday morning in a special alert that said, in part:

We have just been notified that a Woodmoor parent/volunteer has tested presumptive positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus. The parent/volunteer was diagnosed with a different illness and hospitalized in late February. Medical professionals made a decision to test for the coronavirus yesterday.

That parent/volunteer was at the Art Walk on Friday and volunteered in the classroom on Monday. We are currently taking steps at the school to minimize any additional exposure.

KC doc just said we are literally overwhelmed

They can't take calls in a timely manner

They were trying to calm the increasing panic in the Seattle /metro region
