Believe this Washington Examiner article has something notable in it. It's not what Chief Justice Roberts said about Chuck Schumer's threat. It's how Chuck Schumer, through his spokesman Justin Goodman REPLIED to C.J. Roberts.

Schumer doubled down. Accused C.J. Roberts of being the bad guy, of being political, of backing Trump. Told C.J. Roberts that he knows it was not a threat. Said what President Trump did last week against S.C. Justices Sotomeyer & Ginsburg was worse, so much worse.

The battle is on. Chuck Schumer vs. The 3rd branch of government, the Supreme Court. Schumer, and allies, have declared a second front. They in a 2-front war now. Against both the 2nd & 3rd branches of government.

On Toomer's Corner. A little history from the API days. There was a hotel on the NW corner, called Toomer's Hotel I believe. There was a poker game one night, Toomer lost his hotel with a full house.

The winner gave him the newspaper & magazine stand concession. That's how he made his much poorer, living from then on.

Anon could be wrong, It could have been Toomer who won the hand and re-named the hotel. But anon don't think he's wrong.
