Agreed…P2 is a visible outcrop of The Enemy, but it’s a particularly Italian manifestation: militant fascism that went “underground” after WWII, enlisted to keep the communists out of power through Gladio events. But a lot of P2 activity seems much more like general purpose organized crime, only with smarter and more ruthless perpetrators than the Sicilians.
