I agree that Americans, myself included, buy too much junk and produce too much waste. The 9% sales tax would curb that, but then income tax would need to be abolished imo.
Rich people would still buy more junk than me, but it would be hard for me to afford anything.
Plus the income tax and corporate tax would have to be abolished in order to abolish the IRS, no?
