There is help for the PTSD outside of a shrink’s office:
Don’t blame ourselves ever for needing to step back. [They] fear monger for a reason - because it’s so damn effective. Try to talk out - and walk out - what’s going on. Take breaks when stuff gets intense. Walk around - even pacing at home helps. Walking activates both sides of the brain which helps process this shit. Alternate between the tense stuff and happy stuff but remember, millions are taking this journey so not all of us have to face the worst shit.
Some gentle remedies are incredibly helpful. People swear by Bach Flower Remedies like Rescue Remedy. Homeopathics also work, that’s why [they] are at war against naturopaths. Aconite can help with shocking events. Apis can help when a person’s adrenals are involved. Ignatia when things are emotionally overwhelming. Find good info sources, read up, learn what your body needs.
Drink more water to help flush out stress and toxins. When drinking more water you might need a bit more salt in your diet, make it something like sea salt.
Traumas can get encoded into our DNA and be passed down through the generations. Think: phobias that can’t be explained ie hydrophobia from an ancestor who nearly drowned. This begs the question: are we being triggered by shit OR is an encoded trauma being triggered? Here’s a hidden truth: our DNA will heal itself if we let it and give it the nutrients it needs to do that. True story.
