Panama, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands are not tax havens.

They are money laundering hubs for the dark economy, including drug cartels.

They set up investment funds in these islands because the local governments refuse to ever make anyone reveal where the money came from (drugs and human trafficking).

Then these nameless funds "invest" in tranches or as part of a syndicate in initiatives at pass-through funds such as Bain Capital.

Any company relying heavily on funding from these places is willingly participating in whole scheme.

Most of the money in the "investment funds" from these islands is being laundered.
