NO, not nearly enough baking soda to make a salt.
See my earlier posts. JUST a bit, as little as possible to start the current flowing. PURE water is not a conductor of electricity, it must have some tiny bit of impurity to become an electrolyte. Salt or baking soda best. I like BS.
Sure, a little but I'm talking about the amount of baking soda that you could dip up with the tip of a tooth pick, just enough to make the water conductive.
