Demcratic Adviser: If Hunter Biden Probe Opened, We’ll Go Scorched Earth on Trump Children
The Donald Trump impeachment process was largely focused on the President’s alleged attempts to open an investigation into Hunter Biden. The younger Biden has business dealings in Ukraine that some Republicans feel deserve a closer look.
The Trump children, unironically, claimed that Hunter Biden had taken advantage of nepotism in order to achieve financial gain. Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka Trump are no strangers to claims of nepotism themselves. During an appearance on AM Joy this weekend, Democratic adviser Tim O’Brien said that if Republicans open another investigation into Hunter Biden, it will be open season on the Trump children.
Discussing the talk of GOP attempts to investigate the younger Biden, O’Brien said:
“The Trump family are epic grifters, and this goes back generations. Fred Trump made his money by intersecting with both the federal government and state governments in New York. Donald Came up through New York, intersecting with local government and Atlantic City. Now they are in the White House and all of them are dipping their faces into the till.”
The former Bloomberg adviser continued, “And if the Republicans really want to make an issue out of Hunter Biden, which is very low-hanging fruit that I don’t think most Democratic voters care about anyway, there is going to be a scorched-earth response aimed at all of the Trump children that is unlike anything they have experienced in the media.”
