As an aside, IRL I've got a couple of Friends who work on that Island, and I've spent quite a bit of time at Camp Talega on Pendleton (VMU-4 Tech Rep). That Beach that the H-60 was searching I believe is a private Beach (part of Pendleton), for the Marines.
