No sugar, bread, Rice, or any high carb foods. Not even fruit aside from berries. Good healthy fats like avo , avo oil, coconut oil, etc. Keto style diet but keep meats and dairy to organic. Cinnamon is good for blood sugar too. If he/she is coffee drinker add it coffee with shot of mct oil in the am.
