Re horse racing scandal: They dope them because it works. Just like humans. Brits used to give opium to the cavalry mounts before battle. That was one thing, when your life was the bet. But for money, it is doing the dirty. Taking it from the human or animal who did not cheat. If an amateur cheats, he/she robs the true champion of glory, which translates to other benefits down the line. If a pro cheats, it's the same deal, plus money. This anon has never cheated at sports, and has done many different ones. And always, always, there are cheaters—empirically experienced for 50 years. Some of those guys are dead now, know what I mean? Always better to play it straight, both short run & long term.
