For all the MSTies Anons out there – "Silent Running" looks like an ideal B- pic to be screened on an episode of Mike Nelson's version of Mystery Science Theater 2000! 

All kidding aside, "Silent Running" does have quite the timely/relevant themes:  Space convoy carrying all the plants/forests that are doomed to die on earth (cause– global warming/climate change no doubt–lol), establishment of a break away civilization on Saturn/Mars – looks super campy and hysterically funny!

Starring Bruce Dern (playing EM–lolzz) , almost-human drones, Joan Baez soundtrack – "Silent Running" &"Rejoice in the Sun" – what more could one want!
