apparently this is in the terms of service in the Corey Feldman Documentary.

He seems to have received poor quality in technical areas and legal areas.

This disclaimer would not hold up in Court.

There is a difference in having a risk in delays and receiving NOTHING for your money.

No person takes the sole risk of paying money and receiving nothing. That is considered gambling and not a legal part of a contract such as this.

They paid to watch a documentary. The documentary must be made available for viewing or a refund is required.

There should be insurance that would cover this loss for Corey Feldman and anyone else.

If he did not purchase insurance to cover catastrophic failure, he made a bad decision and cannot visit that upon the paying public.
