anon, i'm sorry but i'm kind of in the middle here, don't know what post you're referring to, wasn't here most of LB. Just being a bit light-hearted about the fact that bakers are always having to deal with all kinds of posts, many of them hard to evaluate. But if something is pushed hard, that doesn't help. Better approach is to find compelling evidence from multiple (credible) sources that support whatever point you want to make. That is oftentimes not easy.
One thing i will say about symbolism is that people spend years understanding symbols; it is not easy. Ask any artists, writer, or dream analyst. For a symbol to be evidence of pedophilic activity, it must be combined with multiple other factors. I like IPOT's approach in that he points out possibilities but tends to describe them as "curious"–leaving it to each individual to discern what really matters.
