Coronavirus death toll in Italy jumps to 631 from 463 in a day, 10,000+ cases throughout the country

Another 168 people in Italy have died of the COVID-19 coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 631, while the total number of cases rose by over ten percent to 10,149. The entire country is locked down in quarantine.

Tuesday’s jump in the deaths, from the previous record of 463, represents a 36 percent rise and the largest in absolute numbers since the infection was first noticed on February 21, the Civil Protection Agency said.

Some 877 patients were in intensive care, up from 733 on Monday. The number of patients who recovered has also risen, however, and stood at 1,004 on Tuesday as opposed to 724 the day before.

The rising numbers come on the day the nation-wide quarantine imposed by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte went into effect, closing off Italy’s borders. All public gatherings, including sporting events, have been banned and civilian movement has been restricted. Schools and universities have been shuttered through April 3.

The novel coronavirus, dubbed COVID-19, first appeared in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019. Most of the fatalities worldwide have been in China so far, but Italy and South Korea have been the next hardest-hit. The virus causes severe pneumonia that can be lethal to the elderly and people with underlying medical conditions.

Biden previously promised that gun-grabbing fake Latino Bobby “Beto” O’Rourke “will be the one who leads” on his gun control efforts.

Old “blue collar Joe” couldn’t take the heat and started screaming at the auto workers and even told his staffer to shut up.

“You are actively trying to diminish our Second Amendment right and take away our guns,” one auto worker said.

“You’re full of shit,” Biden retorted.

Covid-Contagion Spreads: American, Delta, Spirit, & United All Pull Guidance, Slash Flights

Hundreds of thousands of flights across the world have been canceled amid Covid-19 nearing pandemic status.

Airlines are slashing routes on a weekly basis, mainly to Asia Pacific countries and now Italy. The latest airline to announce cutbacks is American Airlines on Tuesday morning.

American started cutting flights in late January as confirmed virus cases and deaths soared in China. It has also reduced international seat capacity by 10% for the summer season, including a massive 55% reduction in flights to Asia Pacific countries.

American will slash domestic seat capacity by 7.5% in April, as many airports across the country are ghost towns as people stay home to avoid being infected. The issue with Covid-19 is that it can remain in the air for upwards of 30 minutes and travel 14 feet. This would suggest that anyone in confined spaces like airports or the cabin of a narrow-body aircraft, could have a high probability of contracting the infection. People are waking up that Covid-19 is much more dangerous than the flu, as it appears airports across the country are empty:
