Mulvaney's new job after a few weeks of fake distancing himself from the president didn't get any attention.
I don't think this is a retirement package or a consolation prize. I think Trump is about to make a big move on the island.
But what? Obviously post-Brexit, but why now and why such a close confidant?
I wonder if upon the Queen's death, if the US doesn't intend to push England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland into a republic?
But why Northern Ireland? Keep them in the union? Free them from the union?
Given Southern Ireland's animosity toward the president, keeping in the union seems more likely to me.
Again I think this chess move was much more important than reported, if the Queen finally kicks the bucket sometime soon.
