You talking about health foods. Here's one. Egg Nog. Like 500 calories per cup. And it tastes great, even for those anons who, like this one, have lost their appetite for food.
For close to 2 quarts.. 1 quart whole milk, 2 cups heavy cream, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, a dash of salt heated to 165 degrees. Meanwhile, whisk a dozen egg yokes hard, add 1 cup sugar,, whisk some more, add 1 teaspoon vanilla, whisk until smooth.
Put hot mild/cream by scoop spoonfuls into yoke mixture, whisk. When milk/cream is mixed with yoke mixture then put back on med. heat. Heat to 165 degrees. Take off heat and cool. Hint: after 15-20 minutes give it a quick stir.
