I've been watching this fairly closely, as the spread itself is interdasting. For a while Iran and Italy seemed to be identical. Then Italian deaths went off the charts in comparison, and Iran slowed a titch.
Now that's possibly due to lack of testing kits in Iran, but I'm sure ChiComs helping there (although like Brazil a few years ago, it's oil got awfully expensive suddenly).
But Italy has been off the charts in the west. Odd that. Lots of ChiCom nats live in Lombardy region. Came back from Chinese New Year carrying? POTUS locked us down. Italy not.
