>You can't have a beer with the people you meet.

Assuming that is of interest.

>virtual is pretty shite.

Not from this anon's experiences.

Saved lots of money.

Virtual work is worth hundred$ moar per month just on savings alone.

Work was rarely interrupted.

Got moar done in less time.

Quality of work and life both improved.

Illnesses reduced (cubicle farms are like a petri dish of diseases)

Time commuting is a waste, that alone was worth $80+ per day (not including the savings on vehicle wear and tear/fuel)

Should have been a huge thing in the early 2000's

Not talking about for people that need/want to have Social interaction (Sales / executives /etc).

Talking about the tech workers that work with code/debugging/troubleshooting/testing.

IT (hands on hardware aspect) doesn't work for fully remote any moar than Sales.

Support roles don't need to be in an office.

At least from 20++ years experience in most aspects of High Tech. Software/Networking/Servers/Admin/Support/Sales

No, left that to the people that wanted to interact with people….only one almost attended was DEF CON/Black Hat way back
