Robert Tishman, grandson of the founder, was married in a ceremony officiated by Rabbi Nathan A Perilman of Temple Emanu-El.
Robert oversaw construction of the World Trade Center.

Speyer has served as chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and on the Board of Trustees of the Rand Corporation. His other board affiliations include Siemens AG.
Speyer sits on the board of Carnegie Hall, alongside the former chairman of Citigroup, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Speyer's wife, Katherine G. Farley, is a senior managing director at the Tishman Speyer. She is on the executive committee of the International Rescue Committee, a refugee relief and resettlement organization.
And she is chairman emerita of Women in Need, which helps homeless women and children in New York City.
