re: Connect Life aka UNYTS et al ORGAN DONATION

This company is based in Buffalo, NY and has changed their name and expanded within the last couple years. It consists of 2 separate divisions, 1: organ & tissue donation (think major organs, eyes, skin, vein, and nervous system components) 2: blood donation and a blood bank. These items are legally not available for SALE but there are procurement COSTS involved, and TIME TABLES for expiration, and move quickly from the OR to shipping devices for emergency operations.

Skin for burn victims, Nerves for Amputee reattachment, Cornea's for infected eyeballs, Vein for connecting organ transplants. Etc.

The Blood Bank was added with a emphasis on replacing RED CROSS BLOOD, and keeping the blood LOCAL for all manner of uses.

GENERALLY, the people involved ARE GREAT LOVING INDIVIDUALS who truly engage in actually saving peoples lives. Death can be tragic, and most of the 'donations' are either from sudden expiration from healthy individuals, or long term hospitalizations with no chance of recovery for other complications.

the spiral has been removed within 2018-2019 and is definitely spoopy.. Child procurement is most difficult FOR ALL PEOPLE INVOLVED. But is also very beneficial for the individuals who NEED an organ, etc. as an adult sized organ (think heart, liver, etc) will not FIT in a child who needs it.

I can speak first hand (spouse-anon) that the people who procure are loving and honest individuals who have VERY DIFFICULT and challenging jobs, both physically and MENTALLY.

I have been asking questions from the FIRST MOMENT i learned about the spiral and have not LEARNED anything that would lead me to further concern.

I WOULD look into the companies who 'purchase' materials for NON-SURGICAL reasons, this great company could easily be exploited without ANYONE knowing they were complicit easily with the use of $$$

I believe in their mission, I know reciepients and donors, and I believe in their positive message. But that may NOT BE THE ENTIRE STORY.
