NORAD tracks everything in space down to a screw that is space junk.
Would they know when a meteorite was going to enter the atmosphere?
If yes, would they know where it's trajectory would lie?
All of these bright sky meteorite events the story is that what ever caused it completely burnt up.
I don't recall an instance where "scientists" located any fragments.
If these are satellites reentering orbit for some reason would there be a debris field like Space Shuttle Columbia, Skylab, Mir, etc.
