Guess which company bought and paid for Dr. Scott Gottlieb, head of the FDA! Bonus points if you can figure out who bought off his predecessor. Hint: both are DS players, in one form or another. Both have the ultimate goal of controlling the flow of new drugs and/or medical devices into the lucrative US market. And both have a vested interest in obfuscating the data that Gottlieb promised to show during his Senate confirmation, and then suddenly decided was too much of an "administrative burden" for the FDA.
