I was listening more to him pandering for “local funds that they can use however you want”.

Basically, vote for me and i’ll give you slush funds.

Listening to fox news, wtf are they doing to POTUS audio? They are quickly fading it in and out so it sounds odd.

All other audio and speakers are normal, but only on POTUS is there a weird volume issue. Like someone is constantly turning up and down the volume.

Some kind of psychological effect they are trying to enact? It’s annoying as fuck.

I listened to him speak live on fox news, there was none of that volume ups and downs.

Which means that it was edited to do that weird volume mix afterwards.

did a bit of digging

https://psychology.iresearchnet.com/social-psychology/social-cognition/contrast-effects/

So what fox news is employing here is the Contrast effect.

They played video of Joe Biden, strong audio, clear, concise.

Followed quickly by audio of Trump speaking, where the audio goes up and down up and down very quickly.

Contrast between the two would have you believe that Joe Biden is much stronger, Trump weaker, even though they are saying nearly the same things, Biden seems stronger because you “heard” him clearly.

Fox news utilizing psychological effects to fuck with peoples perceptions.
