The practical value of a viral test is almost nil when there is no specific treatment, besides isolation, bed rest, fluids, and palliative care.
The fact that there are thousands of people reeeeing on Twitter about muh tests pretty much tells you its bullshit, when nobody was ever clamoring for a flu test before.
