It's not possible that equities and commodities go down in sync, unless the US dollar suddenly got stronger (deflated). And it did, relatively speaking, when Saudi decided to price oil $30 lower. The whole market thing is doing stuff that never happens, only now it's happening. Does it look like a market singularity on the horizon? Yes it does. Yes there are margin calls happening with people dumping whatever they need for short-term liquidity. Yes the Fed is clueless (they let it come to this). Yes there is asset-class rotation occurring. Money managers don't know whether to shit or go blind. Meanwhile algos and dark pools are running the market and the retail investor is being raped by the big money (as always).
Glad I'm out of that rat race now.
Kinda comfy to not have to think about it much.
