I never thought I'd be so excited for the potential of nationwide quarantines and the National Guard patrolling the streets, but here we fucking are. And we still have months before Durham has a presser. So much crazy can happen between then and now.

I'm not necessarily looking forward to people being scared and confused, but it NEEDS to happen. We'll be more necessary than ever to those close to us as we'll be the calm ones with insight while the world seemingly falls apart around us all. I don't consider it something that makes me better or smarter, it's more of an honor than anything else. In retrospect, we'll all likely feel extremely privileged to be in the position we're in currently. The calm in the storm.
