Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to address the nation amid his self-isolation after his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement Thursday night, Trudeau’s office said: “Following medical recommendations, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau was tested for COVID-19 today. The test came back positive.”
The statement says she will remain in isolation. Trudeau will also be self-isolating for 14 days.
