Talking about the power the MEDIA had in the TV era. It might be a good time to review the 3 impeachments.

Nixon. 5 months before the election for his second term, which Nixon won in the biggest landslide in U.S. History, there was a breaking and entering of a DNC office in D.C. Nixon probably knew nothing about it. Furthermore, Nixon had enemies embedded in his administration. Media position? 100% against Nixon. What happened? Media won. Nixon resigned in disgrace.

Clinton. He actually committed serious sexual crimes against women. His wife tarred everyone of his victims. Media position? 100% for Clinton. What happened? Media won. Clinton was acquitted and his approval ratings soared.

Trump. He committed no crime. Media position? 100% against him. What happened? Media lost. President Trump was acquitted. Did that stop media? No, media's doubling down.
