Elon on TED talks was interesting. I've seen 2 of his talks. He discussed that he does not patent alot of his technology. He made it very clear, that it was pointless, but his only competition are governments. He also discussed the need for a solution to the increasing population, like expansion on another planet. I recommend watching them; interesting.
