I did a lot of looking at what may have caused the microcephaly in Brazil. Zika may have played a part, but Zika alone doesnt seem to give babies small heads/brains. I actually came across some information about a vaccine program for pregnant women that was going on at the relevant time. Also, there were pesticides being added to the water supply. Other places with Zika but without other issues dont get the babies with small heads.babi
I think it was a combo of Zika with a DTaP given to pregnant women that caused the microcephaly.
