right. you can always make the case someone mocked your syntax, etc online…but a voice print?
we were all kid musicians looking for schools, so it was inevitable, at that time : Juilliard and Berklee.. blah, blah, were the dreams ….we ended up at U of Miami right before it had a dominant football program…Jim Kelly (BufBills) was in my Pi Kappa Alpha frat as he got drafted later that spring. Jaco was there teaching years before -as the guys I knew were from Norristown who moved to North Mia Beach and Hollywood (FL)-…Pat Methany was influential…all of them… Dixie Dregs Steve Morse and the Journey drummer, etc…a hot bed at one time. I was "on the edge of 17" myself and didn't last long in that lion's den but survived to relay the lore. My Moonlight Graham moment, I suppose. "You were good, kid" … We were expected to play that stuff note for note for auditions so the muscle memory never goes away.
aha!
