That's the conundrum of Free Will. God gave us Free Will. to make our own choices. We can choose not to believe in God. we can choose to follow evil. we can choose to give our freedoms away. we can even choose to give our free will away.

So the deceitful have tricked us into giving away all those things. lulled and distracted us. Made God 'uncool'. Chipped away at values, undermined family. Until we CHOSE to give away our freedoms. And many are choosing to give away their free will as well.
