Possibilities that the photo is not shopped, you are seeing the glass on the plate tilted but water is not.

Movie prop 100% it is the water itself that is fake. My guess is clear candle gel or something similar. If you are on set and someone drops the glass you don't want to have to clean it all up.

Speaking of fake water, didn't we just intercept a bunch of bad / false corona tests hidden in water packaging?
