MBA Anon's 2c FWIW…

Most businesses make capital improvements and other purchases and investments using loans, bond debt, and other forms of financial leverage. The Fed dropping the bank rate to zero will lower loan rates across the board, spurring business investments and ventures as well as mortgages and consumer spending that would've been shelved if the former interest rate made it unfeasible.

It also deprives the elite bankers of a major revenue stream…the shareholders of the Fed…remember it's actually a private bank with a monopoly on making money out of thin air…not a bad business and one they will try to protect at all costs. It's breaking out onto the surface now.

Expect fireworks.
