Trying. Usual UK supplier (Goldcore) is out of fizz.
Silver in the UK is subject to tax at 20%. However, Goldcore buy stocks outside of the UK and do the paperwork for you, so no tax due. Only downside is purchase not anonymous.
I'll update this. Having checked around all of my usual dealers, there is no Ag fizz to be had at a reasonable price in the UK.
Example as of 10 mins ago (silver price is £10:80)
Goldcore £13:36 per oz - OUT
Chard - OUT of all secondary market silver.
BBP - £16:56 per oz
The UK government has deliberately made possession of Ag unattractive by calling it a commodity & adding VAT.
