that is the Fort Indiantown Gap military training facility…. so you see chinooks, and all knids of things flying and driving around there. My mom used to live up that way and when they would fly over she'd say "i sure hope that kid knows what he is doing"

if you are up there you will know better than me but as soon as I saw I-78 in the post I thought of getting off at exit 8 then jog to 22 W and I would see aircraft around there back in the day….but never seen them to the south, like you say. They were more circling over Annville and along the mountain up towards Allentown and back.
