Mr. President what would help me greatly is this: if I could sell stocks and not pay tax to use the money to pay off the little that is left on my modest mortgage. I have a bit left and the interest rate is over 5 %. Why not do an automatic home mortgage interest reduction for those of us who have been living on savings or meager diidends and waiting till the economy is less mean and slanted?

You could lower home mortgage interest to near zero and allow people to transfer assets to pay it off?

Humm?

automatic lowering of all home mortgage interest would be wonderful.

without real input we just make up stories. And the speculation about it breeds tail-telling bullshitters to go out and tell their tails of bullshit.

We don't know what is the deal with why this sudden culturally significant shift of required decorum, nor what to really expect if we daisedly forget and wonder back to our old habits? I figured when the train ran into the truck the day after that SOTU adress, that shit was real then, that day. And I've kept myself separated from a lot of the goings on that seemed to be drawing people off . . . to the neffarious unknown fate (found dead or gone missing?)

but maybe that is paranoia. So I went around with that awareness for almost two years. And now, now we suddenly have all these other pepole whoare like 'what will I do if I can't get my special brand of fetish soap!! oh no!' and they are in real distress!

with that bug eyed look like Adam Schiff standing there in the Walmart. And the only thing that shakes them from it seomtimes is people saying 'It'll be fine. It's going to pass. '

and then they snap out of it.

and then you read about a truck load of toilet paper dumped on a highway somewhere in Arc-Kansas .

wierd times.

The day they tore down the old Sam's club, I was sure . . . it was a Q proof.

there could be some 'debt forgiveness' bonds that would let people swap assets for debt forgiveness?

the government could grant so much per person, and those who have no debt could use them for something else but if they had debt they would have to use it to pay down that portion.

that way the benifit would be great for all, it would be fair, and it would involve a jubilee which is appropriate every so often.

but we can't just say 'oh let the profilgate prosper'. We would need it to be a fair and honest potlatch for the real purposes of shoring up our financial system as well as giving those who Schruggle (said like Rush says it) a hand.

so the thrifty benifit the most from that kind of thing.
