Connection Between DHS Whistleblower Philip Haney "Suicide" and Assistant United States Attorney Timothy Delgado "Suicide"?

I'm not sure if this has been looked into yet and appreciate any help digging.

Phillip Haney, a DHS whistleblower, was found suicided on Feb 21 in Amador County CA.

Weeks later, around March 9, the Assistant United States Attorney Timothy Delgado of the Easter District of CA allegedly committed a murder suicide of his wife and himself.

Amador County is close to Sacramento where Delgado worked from.

Would he have been investigating or overseeing Haney's suspicious death?
