Q started on 4 Chan, I was there when Q was pretty much kicked out of 4 Chan by, basically, the majority of 4 Chan, which, for the most part, thought of Q as a larp that they were tired with.

Q said that he would stick at 4, that was the last word from Q. And then, sometime between 8-12 pm est, there was a number of people who all started saying "we're going to 8, we're going to 8" and there were others (me) who said things like "but Q said 4" and "4 is indexed by Google, and 8 is not, and 4 is better for getting the message out" things like that, but over 12 hours, there was a battle and the battle was lost and Q was out of 4.

Now 8 was all nice and accomodating, allowing Q "his" own board, and there wasn't half the posts saying "go home larp", but 8 wasn't and isn't reaching the people that 4 was. Who knows?
