Pilot killed in western Kansas plane crash

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers said the Cessna fixed wing plane crash landed in a field and the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. He's identified as Anthony Thompson, 56, of Apopka, Florida.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
