There are already rumblings here however. And we aren't officially locked down. Mostly. There's a patriotic voluntary effort, to limit outside activity. I have no problem with that. However, if it is ordered, and death rates are lower than the flu, there will be push back. It's stupid to put ones life, finances, goals on hold, because some elderly people might die a few months early.
I have a bad feeling this pressure cooker is to get the people good and pissed at China.
I HOPE it is to have a groundswell to force GloboHomo corps to divest in China. I FEAR it's to stoke jingo and war, because it is quite clear from this incident that US hasn't the industrial capacity and skills to fight a prolonged war with an opponent who can fight back.
