5G is coming in two phases. The first phase rollout uses existing 4G towers for signalling and new 5G infrastructure for data only. 5G microwave is point to point, and crap at getting 'in the valleys' as they say. Until there's enough P2P infra on our streets, 4G towers will continue to be used. The plan is to have full 5G by about 2024 - assuming current rollout plans with Huawei H/W. Using H/W by other manufacturers will set things back by 18-24 months.

Seems to me like POTUS is buying time by stopping the rollout as much as possible, until it can be canned completely.

You're right that we don't need 5G and it's a particular problem for the industry, as they haven't yet sussed out how to sell it to the punters. With 3G they promoted the internet and people bought. With 4G it was JewTube / streaming video and people bought. With 5G it's a more expensive phone with no extra features and no reason to purchase, as streaming video is already here. They'll try and sell 4K video, but honestly - to a phone? Who needs?

It was the purchase of phones that funded the rollout of 2G/3G/4G networks. With 5G, no-one is buying phones, which means the airtime providers have to pay to build the networks and they aren't liking that one bit.

Final point with 5G. It only really has 3 x uses.

1. Smart cities, where everything is interconnected.

2. Industrial control units for automated factories where sub mill-second response times are required.

3. Outside broadcasts (sporting events), where the setup times and costs are horrible and require a lot of dedicated cables and antennae.

I do agree that they will do anything and everything to keep the herd dumbed-down, poisoned and ill. 5G is all about making $$$ whilst telling the herd it's a benefit instead of a health hazard. The more of the herd they cull the better and they believe it's their right to do so.

Thinking about it, it suggests to me that it's not a normal door. You wouldn't barcode a wooden door frame, no point. But you would barcode a made-for-purpose specially-fitted security door.
