The public really, really needs to get this message - if the hoarding continues, then the supply chain will NOT be good. Right now IT IS FINE!

i'm a little surprised that stores have not already imposed per purchase limits on certain items.

CoG (continuity of government) plans kick in. There are various facilities (highly classified obvs) where the entire Congress + family + staff may be taken and hunker down for safety. Some that have been declassified so far are Mount Weather and one in WVA at a golf course (can't remember the name - Greenbrier?)โ€ฆ

Govt has multiple plans for many different contingencies.

I know how SS is calculated, the question was whether there would be anything additional for those on SS, as there are payouts for everyone else. I can see the answer being no, but just thought I would ask on behalf of others, since it stipulated anyone "under $200k/year" which the vast majority of those on SS are.

How about someone who is 30 who had to go on it, not having the chance to have a long work history and increasing wages/salary over their life and no 401k before health problem struck? Someone I know is stuck in poverty level because of that. The 'forgotten people'โ€ฆ
