>>8477734 Continuity of Government LB notable

Wonder if the report of standby orders is accurate. The official policy is "Continuity of Operations" or COOP. Would think standby orders would more specific (but may be the authors choice of words). Check of various sources, Defense News, Military Times, Army Times, etc had no similar article recently.

Would anticipate the standy order to be part of the "Presidential Policy Directive 40." The DoD manual for COOP is DCMA Manual

3301-02 "Continuity of Operations and Emergency Management."

Do not see any sauce to collaborate the article. Does not seem unreasonable that a "standby order" is in place but we need more sauce.

Proclamation on Declaring a National Emergency Concerning the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Outbreak

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-declaring-national-emergency-concerning-novel-coronavirus-disease-covid-19-outbreak/

The March 13, 2020 Proclamation declares a National Emergency for Covid-19, a health emergency, but provides no indication that COOP standby has been or will be issued involving Continuity of Operations.

Think the Newsweek article failed to understand the facts and assumed a national health emergency equates to continuity of government. Intelnews needs a better source than "newsweak." If Anons do provide valid sauce, great, till then seems like poor reporting.
