A bit of a different look at things:
Since the mid-70's with the corrupt creation of the petro-dollar by kissinger/nixon and the [DS] - with the corrupt of saudi arabia - the world has been controlled and being pushed in a direction that did not have the well-being of a single human being that was not part of the corrupt owners circle, in mind.
The treasonous agreements made during this time that destroyed the life-blood of any nation…a strong manufacturing sector and a strong, broad, vibrant middle class; just so the globalist pigs could pad their own bank accounts and wallow in their wealth, moved nearly all manufacturing to China so the [DS] could operate with far fewer controls over their corruption, theft and slavery than they were under in America or Canada.
Yes, China improved immensely as far as developing a middle class of over 400 million in less than 30 years including millions of millionaires and even wealthier but it was handed to them by the traitors in American/Canadian/european governments and more vitally…on the backs of the people and economies of many countries, not just America and Canada.
It has to change and I believe there is cooperation between President Trump and President Xi. Fortunately for President Trump he is able to get rid of the not just the swamp rats but the scum that settles on the surface of the swamp because…while there are many, in the hundreds, in America's swamp and government - China's government, just their main body, has several thousand members with many hundreds of [DS] swamp-scum just in the main body of the CCP! There are hundreds of self-interest traitors in America including all of the political con-jobs in States/Provinces and cities but there are millions in China.
Every little fiefdom outside of the major cities has their 'leader' who "interprets" China Law as they personally see fit. I can tell you that every, and I do mean EVERY America or Canadian company with a factory in China, pays some form of graft/bribes to local officials, local police, even local army divisions.
ANY that try and say they do not pay bribes or graft are quite simply lying and this includes companies from hong kong, taiwan, south korea, japan, America, Canada, UK, Russia, Germany…ALL foreign companies pay or they do not operate regardless of what a piece of paper from the government might state. When you see a young soldier in rural China wearing a uniform about three sizes too big for him and he's guarding a section of roadway outside of a foreign-owned/foreign-financed/locally run factory with a walled, central office building, you know that just like sargent schultz off hogan's heroes he "sees nothing" and "knows nothing" no matter what he knows. You also know that he can source hookers of any age for the "laoban" (boss) and his guests and his salary is likely paid by the factory owner as well.
President Xi has been focused on China's new Silk Road; he has been focused since he rose to power on high-tech development and finance with a lessening on the manufacturing-for-foreign-companies and more on the manufacturing-for-different-foreign-companies in the middle east, eastern Europe, Russia…and then focusing that manufacturing strictly on those areas. That would mean China would not have the capacity to make products for the 'dollar' or '99' cent stores anymore. Perhaps walmart will have to make a massive change in products it sells but they will still operate.
The situation of today is demonstrating to way more people than the [DS] intended when they came up with this scheme, that there is a dramatic need for a return to sovereignty and for essential goods - at the very least - to be manufactured at 'home' or close to home. This will be made easier once the borders between Canada/America/Mexico are fully eliminated and we become a continental nation rather than 3-separate countries with the ability to completely close the border to the rest of the world in a few minutes.
