I think it's simpler than that. You can't hack into someone's computer to get the message that was on that typewritten paper. Transmitting by typewriter may be their way of having secure comms. Combine that with paper that is instantaneously destroyed when lit and you have a pretty secure line of communication, provided that the mail isn't compromised AND that you find a way to destroy the used ribbon so it can't be stolen and the messages captured that way.

Very true, there is. But remember: Hanx and company are using what they THINK is most secure right now, as their phones are compromised. Also remember that they are the rats at the bottom of the ship and the elite give no fucks about their lives, so they're litterally running from their lives. I'm sure their comms are being read anyways.

>WHY are they not fight POTUS?

How are they supposed to fight if they have no money to buy their weapons of war?

How are they supposed to fight if they can't get on a plane and flee to their country of choice?

How are they supposed to fight if they can't get their adrenochrome and are suffering through withdrawls, which makes them sick and prevents them from thinking straight?

How are they supposed to fight if they no longer control the government or its various departments?

How are they supposed to fight if they know they have indictments against them, but they don't know what those indictments have in them?

How are they supposed to fight if they are reduced to typing letters on typewriters, since their phones and computers are compromised?

How are they supposed to fight if they can't have the publicity they once had, and no longer can put up the public faces they once had?

That may solve some of the holes in his theory, but his theory still holds up. These are just hypotheses to fill in the holes.
