Coronavirus Pandemic, day 7

If anyone is still out there, I’m alive but struggling. Food is running low. Down to only 459 days worth. My hands are super sanitized and my butt is super clean. Down to 15999 rounds of ammo (dropped 1 round down the heat vent while doing daily inventory). Power still on, but for how long? The kids are doing well and holding their own; I'm Missing human interaction but I have my dogs.. for now.. (I'm soaking their food in BBQ sauce in an attempt to marinate them from the inside in case I have to eat them) . I fear dark days ahead. News is all bad. Neighbors have attempted to leap from windows to their death, (or near death… most have single story homes so they may be badly bruised). Blew through most Netflix series so may have to re-watch some again..Basic Survival is a definite challenge. I vow to persevere to the end, I am a survivor! Please, if there is life out there, communicate with me to help preserve my sanity..

The air traffic control tower at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas is temporarily closed after a controller tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The decision was made to ensure a safe work environment for air traffic controllers and technicians.

Soooo … homeschooling is going really well. 😁🤔 This morning, during "art," Kade (age 5) traced the outline of a pair of scissors and came up with THIS beauty.

HAND SANITIZER ANNOUNCEMENT:

With the current shortage of hand sanitizer in our community and across the country, we are pausing production of our Bourbon & Tennessee Whiskey for the next 2 weeks to focus our efforts on producing something more important.

We've received federal approval to begin production of the WHO-Recommended Hand Sanitizing Spray.

We have a very unique ability to produce the 96% ethanol required in hand sanitizer, and we've partnered Long Vue Farms who will be providing the corn that we'll be turning into the ethanol.

We will be providing our hand sanitizer to the community at no charge once we have it ready. We anticipate the timeframe to be around 2 weeks, but there are lots of details we're working through, so please be patient with us! We'll keep everyone updated on the progress!

Las Vegas strip club to remain open despite virus, says 'drive-thru shows' start Friday

As the Governor of Nevada issues a directive to close all non-essential businesses for a minimum of 30 days, one strip club said it will remain open.

Little Darlings, owned by Deja Vu in Las Vegas, said it will remain open because it continues to abide by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention "social distancing" guidelines.

Ryan Carlson, director of operations, said it will continue its tradition of offering nude dancing for 30 years.
