chirality is the aspect of chemicals where two chemicals can have the same atoms in similar order but are mirror images of each other - they can't be superimposed in real life, if molecule A is a mirror image of molecule B, there are some cases where you can't actually rotate or twist parts of molecule A to match molecule B, so they are in fact different molecules (to make it more complicated, molecules can have multiple chiral centers)
in biochemistry this is important, because your body actually is specific about the chirality, so that the mirrored one does not work to produce the same reaction as the normal one in some cases. this is most notable with sugars and proteins (the mirrored sugar used to be an artificial sweetener before sucralose was invented because it would still taste sweet but your body could not metabolize it for energy) but is also applicable for many many others
